Well the first vote is over and it failed in a quasi bi-partisan fashion 140D, 65R Aye's and 95D 133R voting against the measure for the final tally of 205 - 228. So now they go back to the drawing board presumably. I honestly don't think it would be a bad idea to just let it die and those top 400 families foot the bill if they are so worried about losing their money...

Now let's wait and see who they blame it on... Will keep this updated this afternoon...

UPDATE: Ok, so the House Republicans are blaming this on Nancy Pelosi's speech to the House, when Republicans voted overwhelmingly against this... when will the hypocrisy end ????

The Dow is tanking hard... it's down 508 points as of 2:39 Est... Not sure what it was earlier or how far it dropped how fast... will keep it updated... Dow is falling fast and is now down 573.92 and the Nasdaq is down 143.40... how low will they go??
